Chickpea Tofu Churros

  • 1 Package of Franklin Farms Chickpea Tofu

  • 1\2 Cup of Vegetable Oil

  • Cinnamon & Vegan Sugar Mix

Drain Chickpea Tofu and cut into 1\2 to 1 inch size strips (similar to steak fries). You can also make these smaller by cutting the block of Chickpea Tofu in half and then cutting smaller chunks to resemble bites.Pat each piece with paper towel to remove any excess water from the package. In a deep pan, add oil and heat on medium to high heat.

Once the oil is ready, add in the Chickpea Tofu pieces and turn occasionally until golden brown and crisp on all sides. Remove from the oil and transfer to a plate lined with paper towel. Allow the fries to soak into the paper towel to help with the excess oil. In a large bowl, add the cinnamon and sugar mix, chickpea tofu fries and toss to combine. Enjoy!
